I work directly on hand-stretched canvas, building the surface gradually with layers of oil color, expressive lines, drips and thousands of individual brushstrokes. My process includes more than fifty types and styles of artist brushes and a wide range of professional oil colors.

Abstract forms often merge with subtle figurative and landscape elements. Rather than defining a single image, I allow shapes, figures and areas of color to emerge and change as the painting develops. Some works take weeks to complete, while others evolve over several months.

Every painting in this collection is an original work of art, signed and dated on the back. I do not create prints, copies or limited editions.
