Laurie Rubell studio visit by appointment

Experience Original Abstract Oil Paintings in Person

Collectors, curators, and art enthusiasts are invited to arrange a private visit to Laurie Rubell's working art studio in Glen Allen, Virginia, near Richmond.

A studio visit offers the opportunity to experience original abstract oil paintings in the setting where they are created. Photographs cannot always convey the scale, subtle color relationships, layered surfaces, and expressive brushwork of an original painting. Seeing the artwork in person reveals details that may not be apparent on a screen.

Discover the Artwork

During a private studio visit, visitors may:

• View original abstract and figurative oil paintings.
• Experience the scale, color, texture, and movement of the artwork.
• Explore large-format paintings and two-canvas compositions.
• Learn about Laurie's intuitive painting process and artistic approach.
• Discuss available paintings and potential acquisitions.

Each painting is an original work of fine art, created through an evolving process of layered oil color and expressive brushwork.
