Abstract Landscape After Light is a bold, original abstract oil painting by Laurie Rubell, a contemporary abstract artist based in Glen Allen, Virginia.
As this large two-canvas composition is designed to hang as one unified landscape
But the canvases can  be displayed apart,
which offers a dynamic visual presence, as shown in the third photo.
 In fact I paint across both canvases at once to create a continuous, vivid composition.
Also I Work  without sketches and begin with raw, hand-stretched canvas—never store-bought or pre-primed—and use layered washes of deep blue oil paint as the starting point.Â
As the oil paint flows organically from the upper to the lower canvas, with bold figures and forms emerging below the clouds.
 Moreover This abstract oil painting took four months to complete and involved over 50 different types and styles of professional artist brushes and many tubes of oil paint.Â
Because each brushstroke considers  the start, finish, and time within each moment.
And my oil paintings contain thousands of brushstrokesÂ
As I use color, line, and space as core elements to express motion, depth, and emotion across the surface.
In fact there are no copies nor  limited editions
only one original of Abstract Landscape After Light exists.
In addition this oil  painting is signed and dated on the back of the canvas.
