Late November Echoes is an original abstract figurative oil painting by Laurie Rubell, created across two canvases that work together as one composition.

Layered color, expressive lines, and energetic brushwork move across both canvases, creating a sense of connection between abstract forms and subtle figurative elements. The composition continues from one canvas to the other, allowing the two panels to interact while maintaining their own visual presence.

Laurie Rubell paints directly on hand-stretched canvas without preliminary sketches. Layers of oil paint are gradually built through brushstrokes, lines, drips, and changes made throughout the painting process.
