This modern Abstract figurative oil painting is titled
Abstract Figures in Landscape Oil painting#17.
In addition, this use of 2 canvas paintings begins a design for my later works of art.
Seeking to expand the edge and confines of the canvas, the color escapes from the lower canvas to the one above in this artwork.
So this is a 2 canvas abstract work of art.
Both(as pictured) are made to hang side by side but you can hang them separately as seen in the third photo.
I create 2 Canvas paintings because seeking the inside and outside of the edges is my art creative process.
Why?
So I use Color, line and space in creating this abstract landscape.
Because I think about beginnings and endings of any moment and that exact moment of the beginning and the end.
This modern abstract figurative oil painting took 2 months to complete and the process includes "stretching" the canvas over the wood frame. But I do not use "Pre-stretched canvas and no sketches were done.
I used the bottom blank canvas as a starting point with washes of various shades of yellow, adding white, orange and red.I allowed the colors to flow to the top canvas,a beautiful expanse of color .
I use a variety of different brushes and oil colors. How many?Over 50 different types and styles of brushes. How many tubes of oil paint? Over 100 different tubes! This creates a moment in time.Above the clouds, figures in motion .As a result, watch them collide
Expanses of color, shapes and lines in soft and hard shades of yellow and orange in this unique modern abstract figurative artwork.
