This Abstract art oil painting is titled Flag 83
And is a two canvas oil painting.
Specifically I paint across two Canvases to create one unique vivid artwork.
As both canvases are made to hang together but you can hang them apart
So as an artist I use Color,line and space.
Basically this abstract oil painting features energized figures swirling in this abstract sky.
As you are crossing into a red,blue and white moving landscape.
Because I think about starts and finishes of every moment with each brushstroke.
And my oil paintings have thousands of brushstrokes.
In fact This oil painting took four months to complete and the process includes stretching the canvas over the wood frame.
But I never use store bought primed canvas and no prior sketches were done.
As I paint live making changes as I work into the layers of oil paint.
Basically I used the blank canvases as a starting point with washes of dark yellow colors.
In fact I use over fifty different styles of artist brushes and over one hundred different shades of oil colors.
And I do not make copies of my paintings
Nor limited editions.
