This Original Fine Art work is titled Abstract black and white oil painting #13 and is a single canvas work where the paint expands to the edges
Using the blank canvas,
thick black paint was applied at the top which allowed the paint to drip so this was the start of this abstract oil painting.
As the paint dripped I used my brush to guide the paint,
which creates lines and shadows in this abstract oil painting.
Because motion completes this oil painting creating a visual map of black and white of stars.
So this is my creative style which explores and changes abstract landscape and figures.
For example,I think about the start and end of any moment with every brushstroke.
And my abstract oil paintings have thousands of brushstrokes
For instance,this painting took two weeks to complete because the process includes stretching the canvas over the wood frame.
Secondly I do not use Store bought canvas and no prior sketches were done
as I paint live,working and reworking color and line.
Also I use over fifty types and styles of brushes in creating my artwork
And over 100 different tubes and shades of oil paint
In fact,above the surface black paint flows into the white paint branching into shades of grey
Lastly,this lack of color reveals the beauty of black,white and grey.
However
I do not make copies of my paintings.
Because There is only one unique abstract oil painting.
